Commit to Data is the action platform of the UN World Data Forum (UNWDF), mobilizing voluntary, time-bound commitments that turn ambition into measurable progress for stronger data systems. Commitments span grassroots to global efforts, address persistent data challenges across contexts, and contribute to progress across all 17 SDGs. They focus on concrete, accountable actions with clear timelines—beyond financial pledges alone.

Advancing Inclusive Data for the Post-2030 Agenda

Equality Insights is convening the I COUNT! coalition to bring together civil society, national statistical offices, and data innovators working to address gaps in how social groups are represented in data. By creating a shared space for dialogue, coordination, and learning, the coalition seeks to challenge exclusionary measurement practices and raise ambition for the Post-2030 Indicator Framework.

Responsible Governance Data for Children

UNICEF and its Data Governance Fit for Children programme are advancing a project to strengthen child-centred data systems that uphold children’s rights across fragile and humanitarian contexts. The project engages children and young people to co-develop responsible technologies, policies and practices, enabling governments and technology actors to earn social license and protect children globally.

AI Integration in National Statistics

Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) is leading an effort to help National Statistical Offices (NSOs) in anglophone West Africa harness the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their work. Through webinars and stakeholder dialogues, this initiative will identify knowledge gaps, share best practices, safeguard trust, and develop a strategic roadmap for integrating AI into statistical systems.
